Aleksandre Darakhvelidze held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed police liaison officer of the Republic of Austria

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed police liaison officer of the Republic of Austria in Georgia, Harald Mllebner.
The Deputy Minister congratulated the liaison officer on his appointment on the position and wished him success in his future activities.
Within the framework of the meeting, the new police liaison officer of the Republic of Austria highlighted the importance of successful cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and expressed hope that these relations will further be extended through joint efforts.
During the meeting, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze awarded the predecessor of the newly appointed Liaison Officer, Gerald Hormann with a “Certificate of Appreciation” for his significant contribution to the effective implementation of close cooperation in the field of law enforcement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria.
The heads of the Central Criminal Police Department, the International Relations Department and the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia also attended the meeting.
Within the scope of the meeting, the parties also discussed future plans of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Austria.
