As a result of immediate operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Guria Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested Z.R., born in 1956, on charges of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against a family member.
The crime envisions from16 to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that on August 22 of the current year, in Ozurgeti Municipality, due to a mutual dispute, the accused shot his wife, N.G., born in 1969, in the head area in their own house, with a hunting rifle. As a result, N.G. died on the spot.
Law enforcement officers arrested the Z.R. as an accused person.
The police seized the weapon of crime as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Article 109, Part 11 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
