As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Zestaponi and Chiatura District Divisions of the Imereti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested G.T., born in 1966 and previously convicted, J.Kh., born in 1981, who is currently under probation, and M.Kh., born in 1973.
Crimes committed envision imprisonment from 6 to 12 years.
As a result of the searches of the defendants' homes, homestead plots, and auxiliary storage facilities, police seized 230 cannabis plants which were cultivated by the detainees, as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 265, Part 1 and Part 3, Subparagraph A, of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
