As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Tskaltubo and Terjola Police Divisions of Imereti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a citizen of the Republic of Ukraine, I.Z., born in 1993, on charges of illegal purchase, storage and preparation for sale of a large amount of narcotic drugs.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
During the personal search of search activities held in residential home, law enforcement officers also seized a large amount of the narcotic drug “Methadone” packaged in 30 packages from the indicated location as evidence.
As a result of the investigative actions, police seized an electric scale and materials necessary for packing narcotics.
The investigation is in progress under Article 260, Part III, Subparagraph “A” and Article 18-260, Part VI, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
