As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Imereti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested citizens of the Republic of Ukraine - A.H., born in 2005, and L.M., born in 1995, for illegal purchase and storage of an especially large amount of narcotic drugs committed by group with prior agreement and facilitation in the illegal sale of especially large amount of narcotic drugs.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs "cocaine" and "methadone" as evidence during the personal search of the defendant and places of their place of residence.
As a result of the investigative actions, police have also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotics, adhesive tapes, polyethylene bags and an electric scale.
The investigation is in progress under Article 260, Part II, Subparagraphs "b" and part III subparagraph "a" of Part III, as well as article 260 (4) part V, subparagraph “b” and part VI, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
