As a result of the operative-search measures and investigative actions, the employees of the Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested E.G., born in 2004 and convicted in the past.

The Investigation established that in Sagarejo municipality in village Iormuganlo the accused fatally stabbed K.M., born in 1999, in the chest with a cold weapon during an argument over a past conflict and fled the scene. The injured died before being transported to the hospital.
As a result of the investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested the accused on hot pursuit. The weapon used to commit the crime - a knife - has been seized as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
