As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested O.A., born in 2002, and Romanian citizen A.N., Eritrean citizen F.M., and Jordanian citizen I.A., born in 1998, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of a large amount of narcotics committed in group.
The committed crime envisions up to 7 years of imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers in Lagodekhi Municipality, as a result of the personal search of the defendants, and search activities held in residential venues, as well as the vehicle in which they were traveling, seized an especially large amount of marijuana as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Article 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
