As a result of immediate and investigative actions, officers of Kazbegi Police Division under Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, arrested G.Kh., born in 1990, on charges of attempted murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that in Kazbegi Municipality, during a confrontation that started on the basis of a mutual dispute, the accused G.Kh. inflicted several wounds to A.Gh., born in 1967, using a cold steel and fled the scene.
Due to the injuries received, A.Gh. was taken to the hospital, where he was provided with appropriate medical assistance.
Law enforcement officers arrested G.Kh., for attempted murder, shortly after the incident.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
