As a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested previously convicted R.Kh., born in 2001, for stalking, illegal use and distribution of personal data, and threats.
The committed crimes envision up to 4 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, irritated by the closure of the existing relations with the victim, systematically stalked her, established unwanted communication both in person and through mobile phone, and threatened to kill her as well.
The investigation also established that the accused person, with the aim of humiliating and insulting the woman, created web pages in various social platforms using her personal data, through which he spread false information that the victim was allegedly engaged in sexual services.
The accused person also made threats against a family member of the victim.
The police arrested R.Kh. as a defendant.
The investigation is in progress under Article 151 (1), 157 and Article 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
