As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Khelvachauri Police Division of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained two citizens of Ukraine, born in 2004: V.D. and I.K., on the fact of an attempt to illegally purchase, store and sell a large amount of narcotic drugs committed by the group.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers seized as evidence narcotic drugs placed for sale by the defendants at twelve locations. Twenty packages of narcotic drugs placed in a polyethylene bag and prepared for sale were also seized from another location.
As a result of a personal search of the defendant, an electric scale was also seized.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260 and 260 (3) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
