As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested citizens of the Republic of Turkey: A.T., born in 1997, E.C., born in 2003, and D.I., born in 2000, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of large and especially large quantities of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As a result of the investigative actions, including a personal search of the accused persons, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large quantity of the narcotic drug "cocaine" and the psychotropic substance "pregabalin" as evidence.
The police also seized an electric scale.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260 and 261 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
