As a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions, officers of Tetritskaro Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested A.B., born in 1988, and previously convicted P.E., born in 1969, on charges of organizing and participating in group violence.
The crime envisions up to 6 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the defendants, in order to retaliate over the past conflict, physically assaulted N.B., born in 1982, in an organized manner in the vicinity of one of the squares in Tetritskaro, shot him with a firearm, and fled the scene afterwards.
The wounded man has been admitted to the clinic.
As a result of the operational-search measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, the defendants were arrested few hours after the incident.
The investigation is in progress under Article 225, II part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
