As a result of joint operational-search measures and investigative actions, officers of Guria and Imereti Police Departments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested F.C., born in 1998, who was under probation, on charges of rape.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, born in Guria in 2011, raped M.K. by using force and fled the scene.
As a result of the operational-search measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested F.C. as a defendant.
The investigation into the incident is underway under Article 137, part IV of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
