The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gldani-Nadzaladevi, Vake-Saburtalo and Isani-Samgori Police Main Divisions, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, arrested 4 persons on drug-related charges.
The following persons were arrested on charges of illegal purchase and storage of large and especially large amounts of narcotic drugs, facilitation of illegal sale and illegal use of narcotic drugs without a doctor's prescription: S.A., born in 1996, N.V., born in 1988, and previously convicted: I.E., born in 1993, and V.K., born in 1989.
During the personal search of the detainees and search activities of residential apartments, law enforcement officers seized large and especially large quantities of narcotic drugs prepared for sale as evidence, including "Alpha PVP", "Methadone" and "Dried Marijuana".
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, 260 (4) and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
