As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Didube-Chughureti Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested a Pakistani citizen - M.U., born in 2003 on charges of illegal purchase and storage of a particularly large amount of drugs and facilitation of their illegal sale.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
During the personal search of the detainee, law enforcement officers also seized a particularly large amount of drugs - 44 packages of "Methadone" and "Alpha-PVP" - from the places indicated by him, which were placed for the purpose of further sale.
The investigation is in progress under Article 260, Part III, Subparagraph “A” and Article 260, Part VI, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
