As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested B.A., born in 1992, on charges of inflicting grievous bodily injury on purpose.
The committed crime envisions from 9 to 13 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused B.A., on the basis of a mutual dispute, inflicted grievous bodily harm on purpose to T.A., born in 1966, with a cold steel in the back area.
Law enforcement officers arrested B.A. as a result of immediate activities. The police seized the weapon used to commit the crime - a knife - as evidence.
The investigation is underway under Article 11-117, Part III, Subparagraph “e” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
