As a result of immediate investigative actions and operative measures conducted by the officers of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.V., born in 1995, on charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that during the confrontation in Tbilisi that began on the basis of a mutual dispute, the accused person inflicted multiple wounds to R.K., born in 1992, with a cold steel, after which he fled the scene. The wounded man died upon being taken to the hospital.
As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, the police arrested G.V. as the accused person several hours after the crime took place.
Law enforcement officers seized the weapon of crime as evidence.
An investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
