As a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Marneuli District Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.M., born in 2002, S. B., born in 2002, and E.T., born in 1994, on charges of gang violence and illegal deprivation of liberty.
Crime committed envisions imprisonment from 7 to 10 years.
The investigation established that in a village in the Marneuli district, the defendants physically assaulted D.A., born in 1991, due to a financial dispute, forcibly put him in the trunk of a car, illegally deprived him of his liberty, and took him towards one of the rivers, during which D.A. was able to open the trunk and escape.
As a result of search and investigation measures conducted by law enforcement officers, all three defendants were arrested on hot trail.
The investigation is underway under Article 126, Part 1, Subparagraph “b” and Article 143, Part 3, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
