As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, the officers of Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, arrested foreign citizens: K.B., born in 2005, and previously convicted M.G., born in 1995, on separate occasions for the illegal purchase, storage, preparation for sale and attempted sale of large and especially large quantities of narcotic drugs.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers also seized the narcotic drug “Methadone” as evidence from various locations during the personal search of K.B. and search activities held in his temporary place of residence.
The narcotic drug “Methadone” was also seized from M.G. as a result of searching his vehicle.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, 18-260 (3) and 19-260 (3) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
