The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze hosts the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan, who is in Georgia, along with the delegation, within the scope of the official visit.
The Ministers of the two countries laid a wreath on the memorial of police officers fallen in the line of duty, located on the territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan, representatives of the Embassy, members of the delegation, as well as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, and other senior officials of the Ministry.
During the visit, Arpine Sargsyan will hold meeting with the Prime-Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
Furthermore, the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the two countries will sign the Agreement “Between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the Readmission of Persons Residing without Authorization”.
As part of the two-day visit, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will also visit the Public Safety Command Center "112" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Patrol Police Department, and the Service Agency, where she will get acquainted with their activities on site.
