The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Geka Geladze, hosted the Minister of National Security of the State of Israel, Itamar Ben Gvir, who is in Georgia on an official visit with a delegation.
Within the framework of the meeting, the heads of the law enforcement agencies of the two countries focused on the existing close and effective cooperation. The parties also underscored the importance of sharing experience and best practices.
Geka Geladze noted that the Georgian side is ready to expand cooperation with the Israeli side in various directions.
Itamar Ben Gvir expressed his gratitude to his Georgian counterpart for the hospitality and conveyed his readiness to deepen cooperation in priority areas.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs and other senior officials of the Ministry, the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Georgia, Walid Abu-Haya, and representatives of the Embassy.
