As a result of immediate operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested V.T., born in 1975, who had a previous conviction, on charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, in the village of Tirdznisi, Gori Municipality, inflicted wounds to the chest area with a cold steel to L.M. in her own house on the grounds of conflict. As a result of the injuries received, L.M. died at the scene.
As a result of immediate investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, V.T. was arrested.
The weapon of crime - a knife - has been seized as evidence.
An investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
