Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, along with the Deputy Minister, Giorgi Butkhuzi, visited the Forensic-criminalistics Department of the Agency.
The Minister inspected the areas of various directions of expertise, including - biological, chemical, narcology, calligraphy and document technical laboratories.
Director of the Forensic-criminalistics Department, Mamuka Jangulashvili familiarized Geka Geladze and Giorgi Butkhuzi with detailed information regarding the department's activities and main areas of operation.
While inspecting the department's infrastructure, the Minister of Internal Affairs got acquainted with the specifics of the experts' activities on site. Geka Geladze focused on the importance of forensic expertise in the investigation process and expressed gratitude towards the personnel of the mentioned structural unit for their effective work.
