Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze held working meetings in Guria and Samegrelo regions.
Along with the First Deputy Minister Roland Meskhi, the Minister held working meetings with the leaderships of Guria and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Departments, as well as the Patrol Police Department regional units.
Geka Geladze also visited other structural units of the Ministry located in Guria and Samegrelo regions. The Minister visited the works spaces, equipment and facilities of the Security Police, Emergency Situations Management Service, and the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police.
The working meetings were also attended by Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, Mariam Tabatadze, Shalva Tadumadze and Giorgi Butkhuzi.
The Minister got familiarized with the detailed information from the heads of the regional police departments regarding the fight against crime and police preventive measures in their areas of operation.
The meeting also focused on the crime statistics and crime-solving rates in both of the regions.
At the working meeting, Geka Geladze, noted the priority areas of the Ministry and expressed gratitude towards the employees for their effective work.
