The Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, visited the base of the Main Division for Response to Special Situations of the Emergency Situations Management Service, where he held a meeting with the Head of the Service- Temur Mghebrishvili, and the heads of the fire and rescue forces in the regions.
The Minister of Internal Affairs visited the training center of the Emergency Situations Management Service, got familiarized with the ongoing infrastructure projects and innovations at the base, inspected the fire and rescue vehicles as well as other special equipment intended for the Emergency Situations Management Service.
In the course of the working meeting with the Head of the Emergency Situations Management Service and leadership of divisions, the Minister received detailed information on the activities of the service. Geka Geladze, in turn, focused on the priority areas of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and expressed his support for the implementation of future projects of the Service.
Geka Geladze also visited the Operational Control Center of the Emergency Situations Management Service and got acquainted with the video surveillance systems operating to ensure emergency assistance and operational control. He also received information on the specifics of the operators' work and wished them success in their professional activities.
