The officers of the Detective Division of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, arrested I.E., a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, born in 1988, who was wanted by Interpol's Red Notice.
The detainee, I.E., was wanted by the Republic of Turkey on charges of premeditated murder and illegal acquisition, storage and carrying of weapons.
The investigation revealed that the accused crossed the Georgian border before an international search warrant was issued for him.
As a result of intensive investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, the whereabouts of the perpetrator were determined and he was arrested.
Currently, pre-extradition procedures are ongoing against the detainee, as provided by the law.
