The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Article 240 of the Criminal Code of Georgia into the fact of the collapse of a residential building near the “Station Square” in Tbilisi.
According to the currently verified information, as a result of the collapse, 2 people were killed, and one person was injured who was transferred to the hospital for appropriate medical treatment.
Firefighters and rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service, along with employees of other structural units of the agency, continue search and rescue activities intensively. Due to security measures, the area has been cordoned off.
