The Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a signal from the early warning system installed in Devdoraki gorge, which detects changes in the riverbed in case of a minimal rise of the water level.
In accordance with the protocol, the Patrol Police, Customs Service, Border Police and all employees of private companies working at the border checkpoint “Daryali” were evacuated to a safe place.
All relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mobilized at the site for monitoring purposes. There are no casualties.
At the same time, for safety reasons the road was closed. Traffic movement is restricted in both directions for all types of transport.
