The officers of District Inspectors Division of Tbilisi Police Department along with the officers of Mestia Regional Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of MIA as a result of jointly conducted investigative and operative searching activities detained in Mestia region G.M. (DoB: 1993) on the fact of premeditated murder committed on the ground of family conflict.
The investigation established that on November 19, 2015 the detainee in the vicinity of Tbilisi Sea as a result of family conflict inflicted lethal injury with a cold arm in the throat to the sister of his spouse L.K. (DoB: 1988) and escaped. The injured died immediately.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
