As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Batumi City Police of Adjara Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, arrested B.Sh., born in 1994, on charges of violence against family members.
The committed crime envisions the imprisonment for a term of up to 3 years.
The investigation established that the accused person, citing intolerance of equality between women and men, systematically verbally and physically abused his wife, including in presence of their children.
The investigation also established that the accused person physically abused his children as well at various times.
As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted by the police, B.Sh. was arrested as an accused person.
The investigation is in progress under Article 126 (1) and 11 (1) 126 Articles of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
