As a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, arrested a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, Sh.I., born in 1980, on charges of rape and threats against a family member.
The committed crime envisions up to 13 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused man sexually abused his own daughter on the regular basis, threatening to kill and harm her health, both in Turkey and Georgia.
As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, Sh.I. was arrested in Batumi as the accused person.
The investigation is underway under Articles 137 (11) and article 151 (11) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
