As a result of immediate operative activities and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested previously convicted Z.K., born in 1986 on charges of an attempted murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that during a confrontation in Batumi that started on the basis of a mutual dispute, the accused person wounded L.Ch., born in 2001, with a cold weapon and tried to escape from the scene, however he was stopped by law enforcement officers and arrested as an accused. The wounded L.Ch. was hospitalized, where he was provided with appropriate medical assistance.
Police seized the weapon of crime - a knife - as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
