As a result of investigative actions conducted on hot trail, officers of the Investigation Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested A.V., born in 1946, on charges of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances.
Crime committed envisions imprisonment from 16 to 20 years.
The investigation established that in a village in Bolnisi due to a dispute the accused fatally wounded his wife, E.T., born in 1950, with a cold weapon in his own house.
As a result of investigation, law enforcement officers arrested the accused on a hot trail. Police seized the weapon used in the crime - a knife - as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
