As a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions, officers of Old Tbilisi Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the conducted operational-search measures and investigative actions, arrested previously convicted and currently on probation - D.Kh., born in 1999, on charges of rape.
The committed crime envisions up to 8 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person physically assaulted and had sexual intercourse by using force with A.B., a foreign citizen, born in 1997, in Tbilisi, after which he fled the scene.
The injured woman A.B. was taken to the hospital, where she was provided with appropriate medical assistance.
As a result of the conducted operational-search measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested D.Kh. as a defendant.
The incident is being investigated under Article 137 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
