As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi and Isani-Samgori Police Main Divisions under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 4 people on drug-related charges.
S.G., born in 2005, A.Kh., born in 1999, G.Kh., born in 1998, and V.G., born in 1992, with previous conviction, were arrested on charges of illegal purchase and storage of large and especially large amounts of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and marijuana, attempted sale and facilitation of sale, as well as illegal use of narcotic drugs without a doctor's prescription.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years of imprisonment.
During the personal search of the detainees and their personal belongings, vehicles, and residential places, law enforcement officers also seized narcotics, including "Methadone", "Pregabalin", "Ketamine", "MDMA", and "Dried Marijuana", as evidence from the locations indicated by them.
As a result of the investigative actions, the police also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotics, adhesive tapes, polyethylene ziplock bags, and an electric scale.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, 260 (4), 261, 19-260 (3), and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
