As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Didube-Chughureti Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested Ukrainian citizens A.K., born in 2000, and A.M., born in 1995, on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of narcotic drugs in especially large amount.
Crime committed envisions imprisonment up to 20 years.
During the search of the defendants' personal and residential homes, as well as from the locations indicated by them, law enforcement officers seized the narcotic drug "Methadone" as evidence, which was stored for further selling.
A small electric scale was also seized as evidence by the police.
The investigation is ongoing under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
