As a result of operational measures and investigative actions on hot pursuit, officers of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.P., born in 1991, who had a previous conviction, on charges of intentional grievous bodily harm.
Crime committed envisions punishment up to 7 years.
The investigation established that the accused, who was under the influence of alcohol, inflicted wounds on various parts of the body of Z.G., born in 2000, using a glass bottle, following an argument, and fled the scene. Z.G. was taken to the clinic for appropriate medical assistance.
Law enforcement officers arrested the suspect G.P. shortly after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
