As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Main Division for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested T.Sh., born in 1978, on charges of attempting to purchase and store an especially large amount of narcotic drugs.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As a result of the investigative actions, law enforcement officers seized 439 pills and pill fragments of the narcotic drug “Subutex” as evidence.
An investigation into the fact of attempting to purchase and store an especially large amount of narcotic drugs is underway under Article 260, I and III parts, subparagraph “a” of Article 19-260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
