As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested A.D., born in 2003, on charges of illegal purchase, storage and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
The committed crime envisions up to 7 years of imprisonment.
Patrol inspectors stopped A.D. while he was driving a vehicle for the purpose of inspection.
Law enforcement officers seized a firearm, 10 cartridges and magazine as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Article 236, III and IV parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
