As a result of immediate operative-search and investigative actions conducted by Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two individuals - G.O., born in 1998, and E.I., born in 1994, were arrested on the charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on June 25 of the current year, in the village of Kabali, Lagodekhi municipality, on the territory of the agricultural market, the accused person shot and killed F.A., born in 1975 - the owner of one of the shops located on the territory of the market, with a firearm and fled the scene.
The wounded man died before being transferred to a medical facility.
As a result of the operational-search measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, G.O. and E.I. were arrested as defendants.
An investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
