As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Main Division for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a Jordanian citizen - M.D., born in 2000, on charges of illegal trafficking of the narcotic drug marijuana.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Based on the Court decision, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a number of undercover investigative actions, which established that foreign citizen M.D. was systematically selling narcotic drugs. The police carried out several undercover purchases of narcotic drugs from the accused person and secretly recorded the aforementioned process.
An investigation into the illegal sale of the narcotic drug marijuana is in progress under Article 273, Part II, and Article 260, Part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
