Officers of the Main Investigation Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Detectives (Operational) Main Division, Vake-Saburtalo, Isani-Samgori and Old Tbilisi Police Main Divisions, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out at different times, arrested 4 people on charges of drug-related crimes.
The following persons are detained on charges of illegal purchase and storage of large and especially large quantities of narcotic drugs: T.E., born in 1998, Belarusian citizen G.A., born in 2007, and two more previously convicted persons - T.Ch., born in 2003, and K.T., born in 1984.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years in prison.
During the personal search of the detainees and search activities held in their residential homes, as well as during the investigative experiment, law enforcement officers seized various types of drugs for sale, including "Alpha PVP", "Amphetamine" and "Methadone", as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260, 19-260 (3), 18-260 (3) and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
