As a result of the conducted operational-investigative actions, the employees of the General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested an inspector of the Aviation Security Division under the Security Police Department on charges of theft, based on the relevant Court decision.
The investigation established that M.B., born in 1990, secretly took possession of a gold item belonging to a citizen while performing his official duties, for the purpose of unlawful appropriation.
The committed crime envisions the term of imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
The investigation into the fact of theft is underway under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
